Sunday Morning.......
OOooh I do like a bit of Velvet Underground. Lou Reed is the man yanno. I know you know. I realised recently that about three quarters of my record collection at the least consists of records made in the 70's, in fact before I was even born. I wasn't even there for the Punk movement, which is largely my main musical influence. :-( funny eh?
The first record I ever bought was a Bob Dylan one, followed by a Jimi Hendrix, followed by a Bob Marley, then a Led Zeppelin, followed by the mighty Doors. The only music I have probably liked that has come out in my life is fairly minimal - I do like a fair amount of house and dance music - but it's different. I'm not sure I count it which is I guess rather bizarre as it is indeed music....
Then there is Prince - I do have a shelf full of Prince - a fair chunk of Morrissey, oh, and every Madonna album. Apart from that and few odd things like the Libertines - not much is that recent. What was the first record you ever bought?
It isn't Sunday morning, it hasn't been for two days and I'm not at the Arsenal Newcastle home game tonight as I should be because I couldn't face the crowd today. I know, I know, the show must go on and all that jazz and it's not like I was playing I just had to stand there, but I just didn't feel up to it. They are currently winning which is fabulous, well done my wonder lads.
I didn't finish my post on Sunday and have lost touch with where I was getting to but there we go. All I have to say today really is that I still despise Ashley Cole the pathetic little twerp with all my heart and I'm going to bed now. See ya soon. In a better mood one hopes.... :-)
