Wow. Sunday was a beautiful day. It came with a decidedly rocky start - first involving a brawl with an arrogant barely comprehendable cab driver who proceeded to boot me out at the far end of Holloway Road - not a nice start - nor walk in high heeled boots which nearly caused a few heart attacks and car crashes - you know - "man see woman" type shenanigans which I wasn't in the mood for after my little tussle.
I'm a funny bunny. Dressing up is a serious passion for me, especially in themes, and none are closer to my heart than the Arsenal colours. I think I'm like a peacock or something - strutting about in whatever finery I come by appears to have become a huge part of my life which causes some issues from time to time. English people don't always appear comfortable with it. Odd. Anyway, I only OWN two pairs of relatively flat boots - most of my 100 plus collection start at three inch stilletoes plus - which I guess makes un- attention grabbing dress a tad difficult. I'll be sorry too when I get that thing that old people get.Anyway, I made it relatively unscathed to one of the bars I frequent, met a clan of Lovely friends (my family from row 14) and got into the ground. What a worrying start it was. Dodgy first half. Terence was asleep on his feet, the reffer had it in for us, no Gilberto, Adebayor having a mare, we conceded a goal and I realised how cold it suddenly felt. The second half was SSSSOOOOOOOOOOO fine I was kept Lovely and warm as we spent most of it on our feet shreiking and celebrating - thank God I don't have a vocal take coming up as it killed my voice! Is yours back Bobby? By full time we were 2-1 up. Thierry triumphantly belted the winner in and we were off. I left the ground on such a high that my cheshire cat grin didn't even budge when this fifteen stone moron called me a f***ing c*** or something equally charming.Matt "IFIHADAHIFI" I bet you are suffering today if you read this - seeing as you had been drinking all day and only left just before me in the evening.... good lad.... entertaining rant on Ronaldo throughout the game.... ;-) You too CArrie. The wonder chick that danced Sir Avenell's socks off in Camden on a school night, good lass!Anyhow. My pal Georgie left the ground early as she thought we were losing and missed BOTH of the goals - Jesus woman!!!! I can't get over that! Anyway, it's been back to snivilsation today. Triumphant but tired. Work tomorrow zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Back soon munchkins..
