Every Day Is Like Sunday....

But it isn't always silent and grey. How are you peeps? Found a PC place so here I am. Excuse the awol, it's just a girl's gotta do......... Well, fill in time. Ok, where do I start? Great to get away from London momentarily but looking forward to being home tomorrow, a rarity for me when I travel. The triangles were bigger than expected, really interesting, I'll upload some pics when I get back for those who haven't seen them, as I took one of a horse and cart at the base which will show you the kind of size those Pyramids are. People are very friendly, men exceptionally friendly which is not unusual, but also very quick to address me as a "Princess", a a term I find most agreeable. Weather is just dreamy, not too hot and, although the days are kind of short, - (if you sleep in Musician's time you will see NO sun as I found out when I first arrived....) it gets dark around 3-4 onwards, the Sun sits gracefully amongst the pale blue, clear soft sky.

I took a trip yesterday into the Siniai Mountains and desert on the back of a Quad Bike which was fantastic, great stuff. A little like a Scene from a mighty Star Wars Movie, of which I am on DVD 5 tonight as I have all six films on this trip. Great stuff.

I quite enjoyed Egyptian music before I came here.... say no more perhaps on that front for now but I guess it's been a refreshing escape from the Western Pop shite, apart from my own of course, ;-) of which this little journey has all been part of the big plan. Batteries charged, I'm back to kick some serious ass tomorrow....starting with a wee gig/guest appearance on Sunday daytime in Blackpool, so anybody living up that way with a penchant for Punk or Ska or within travelling distance please let me know and I'll happily arrange meeting/and/or a guest list.

Until my return, may the force be with you.... XXXX
