Thank you Mr Christmas....

Well, Mr Gooner himself came in quick and fast with his budget for my Music show pilot, but, had I thought about the stuff I have to get through before January to get this record out of my hair I should have slowed my typing right down and thought about it a bit more carefully. Writing a script for a show is not exactly top of my priority list as Adie politefully pointed out but, thank you Santa all the same.... :-)

More shoots and Live footage is next up, of course after bagging "Love Song" for which I am still toying with the ending. Do I look like the kind of girl who'd write a squidgy Love song? DOn't answer that, I don't want to see the results in writing :-(. Anyway, I'm umming and aahing about an "You'd like my arms wrapped tightly around your neck but I'd rather use my Guitar string" type or more positive ending at the moment. Romantic stuff eh? I'm trying to base it on my experiences and of course some of yours (no names here but it's not always cool runnings is it?) Love. I guess anything that provokes a severe reaction in a person is not going to be easy.

Speaking of which, I just had one with the beep beep beeeeeeeeeep receptionist at my surgery. She's got it in for me that one. She is SO rude!!!! I don't know what I have done to deserve her nastiness but it must have been really awful in her head. I normally hold my tongue and remember to smile in the face of her ridiculous attitude but this morning's phonecall was so terrible I, of course with a smile that helped deliver it so cuttingly said something back before leaving her to let rip on my desk whilst humming to myself. Stupid woman. You only ring up these places when you need something or you aint well so it would be nice to not have to get past a wicked troll or in my case two before you get seen. Right. I need a cup of tea and I reckon a stint in the ring won't go a miss today. Receptionist's face it is, ;-)
