Bless you Bill Everrat
For saying I musically reminded you of a female David Bowie. Ahhhh, if only the comments were always that wonderful. They don't come more pleasing than that! This radio interview malarkey is turning out to be so interesting, as I've already met some really inspired, passionate, musical people, the sort that make you remember what you do it for and why you Loved it in the first place, you know? It's funny, but all the business people in the Music industry just spend all their time chasing their tails, trying to re-create bands and music they think will sell, purely for money, and most of the real people who actually Love it just seem to get a hard time in one way or another. I suppose life is a dog eat dog scenario at the best of times which isn't easy to accept, but it does cheer you up when you come across somebody in it for the right reasons. Unfortunately pretty rare so far given the numbers about, but who knows what the future holds? I guess seeing as the industry has for want of a better word completely f***ed itself through sheer greed maybe things will start changing now for the better.. :-) It certainly can't get any worse and good Music will prevail in the end, I know it.
I will post details of blessed Bill's show later on, which will be aired late tomorrow night, so for those who do as I do at the minute!!!! How is the world outside of my house? Great I hope. I've started feeling a little despondent this week to be honest, so last night's chat with my new pal cheered me up no end, but today I feel a bit back in the dumps. I suppose what goes up must come down, although I dislike that phrase immensely so I'm not sure why I typed it.
I did get up early and do some things I needed to do so I guess the day could perk up yet. Off to Highbury inabit for a fitting with Rubbergirl, who's working away in her studio designing me an outfit for a show next week I am really excited about. That is after I slap the boxing bag at the gym for a bit which normally helps me feel a little chirpier. It works, honest.... insert mental image of person or persons who aggravate - punch into oblivion, simple. :-D Signing off now, Ms. Eeyore...........
