DIAMONDS ARE A GIRLS BEST FRIEND...

That's it. I have decided my life just isn't glamorous enough at the moment. I've had a slight change of outlook this weekend. Well, not just this weekend, it's been building up on me all year and was somewhat heightened by my recent time in France. TWO great female friends of mine have been telling me recently how they feel the best years of their lives have been wasted on being too submissive or not expecting enough from life. How grim is suddenly realising that your best years have passed and you are left with nothing? So depressing a thought! One even got married really young and ended up with less than what she started with. And I don't mean financially, although that is also true. :-(

I do generally live in the moment and do all the things I want, but from time to time it's easy to let slip and I feel I might be coasting, which is not really my style. SO, out comes the pink champagne tonight, my black diamond Jimmy Choos and faithful well over watched copy of "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" and bring on a hot and exciting summer. Thought I'd share this thought with you, as it might cheer you up and get you out of the house if you are on your lonesome.

They do say you only live once, so watch out bills and bores - you're for the slag heap............ :-D
