It's Friday I'm in LOVE.

Well, not exactly but by george that's a brilliant pop song. The Cure are one seriously great band and have done some excellent tunes. One of my earliest and favourite live experiences ever was watching them at a festival I went to with my Dad. It was getting dark and the sky was tinged red with black clouds moving across it and they played Killing an Arab and, well, it was fan-fucking-tastic to say the least. I remember that whole day from start to end, watching Dreadzone and being knocked out by them earlier in the day and then lying on the floor as the day was coming to an end because we had danced so hard and all this left over rubbish was being blown across us and everybody's voices were high from sucking helium from balloons. Ahhhh, magic moments eh?

Well, it's been a weird day. I popped into a shop on Camden high street to pick myself some food up for tea about an hour ago and this person, this quite normal looking bloke, just came into eye contact with me and dropped his shopping and gasped "OH MY GOD!" in a really loud voice. He looked stunned, like he had seen a ghost. A quick look over my shoulder assured me that it was me he was looking at, a second glance down to check my top hadn't vanished to reveal my naked breasts or something similarly mad was a false alarm so I just said "WHAT?"

Funny bloke still gawking and too shell shocked to speak started to make people in the store stare at him and then me which made me feel pretty self conscious and so I decided to make a dash for the furthest till from him and duck out of the store quick smart, much to the bemusement of the checkout chick who was eyeing me up nervously. Anyway. There we go. It's a funny old life this is. My house feels really empty tonight so I better find some music to fill it up with. Buzzcocks. I'll have the Buzzcocks and some Vegetable Paella. Niiiicccce. Hope you are enjoying the weekend. Toodeloooooo
