Hey.

Evening....
How's all? Had a bit of a troublesome week myself. What I'm really hoping to do is stop picking on myself and bog off on a holiday and ignore all my woes until I get back. I'm seriously considering effing off out of London as it feels so grey and cold at the minute. I wish I was only talking about the weather as I do have some warm garb that keeps that out. I'm sure I probably am not the only one feeling off at this point, judging by a few snippets from the lives of a couple of folk I know....but thinking about the fact it's not just me only seems to temporarily keep me from feeling glum. :-(

On a totally random sidetrack here - I was sitting on a bus today - I know, I know, the glamour huh? Sometimes it's gotta be done.... just hopefully not very often. Anyway, I was on this bus for about 25 minutes, and this girl was sitting on a two seater to my right across the way just yapping away loudly on a mobile phone. Non stop. Describing really random crap and signs and things that she could see along her journey. I wasn't in the slightest bit interested, but, as this girl's voice was rather intrusive, I couldn't really ignore her. Oddly, I got off this bus, walked about two stops up to get on a second bus, got on it, and this same girl came and sat on it, a similar distance away, still gabbing on this damn mobile phone. About fifteen minutes into this journey, the girl, still describing mundane things like shop signs and sofa colours in shop windows and the like to whoever she was talking to stood up, rang the bus bell going "can you hear that, did you hear that?" Listen she said, repeatedly pressing the bell so that the other person could hear it down the mobile phone....

She then proceeded (thankfully) to get off the bus, still talking, and walked right up to the other girl she had been talking to before finally putting the thing in her pocket. I can't think why on earth I bothered to type this whole stupid little incident in my diary other than because it will remind me that, for all my faults and problems, I am not a boring, uninspired geek. And my life, with all its up and downs, is not tedious. It's exciting.
Thank f*** for that.
