Ahhhh. Lovely win for the Gunners against Tottenham today over at the lane, which bumps us up to top of the table.. 3 - 1 to us wooohoooo!!!! I'm just sitting here waiting for Match of The Day for the highlights. I had to listen to it on the radio which is always a bit annoying but today the commentator was quite a laugh. "Arsenal are seriously just taking Tottenham, and from behind" being the best lifted quote. Shaky start with them scoring first, and just as I'd had enough and called shaky old Adebayor a four letter word or two than did he bang in a goal, so sorry dear, I spoke too soon. :-) Fifth goal this season for the mighty Cesc Fabregas, which has made me a happy little bunny indeed. I hope he has a fantastic season, in fact I hope we all do, in spite of some of the down chat the team has endured so far from the start. Tottenham finishing in the top four is not looking so likely just yet, heheeeeee, and some of the pundits already appear to be back tracking which makes for fun listening! Right - enough about football or I'll get complaints again - I know, I know, you aren't all fans.... :-)
Anyway, I finally watched "This is England" this evening. It often takes ages for me to get round to things - Shane Meadows being one of my favourite British directors it was about time. I enjoyed it but wasn't quite as blown away as I thought I might have been having read the reviews, which are usually crap so I've never known why I bother anyway. I did like it. Some cute actors and actresses and some great scenes as usual for Mr M. Apart from that Iv'e done pretty much sod all today apart from mooching about the house catching up on some bits and bobs. Enjoying my space etceteradedah....I hope tomorrow will be pretty like today, as I'm off over to Rubber girl's for lunch and to pick up my silly lickle bike which I need to get riding as part of my health binge thingamajig. I was laughing the other day at all the shallow monsters giving poor little Britney Spears a slating for her wee belly. Jeez, If they got the chance to pick at me they'd have a field day if they think that's bad. I'd probably squash Amy Winehouse if we were stuck on the same bill. Which could be fun. But anyway. MOTD.
