So. It's not been ALL smiles this year so far but I'm still soldiering on regardless. You can't keep a good girl down for long! Had a fun time shooting yesterday that took my mind off a few little ups and downs over the past week, and had a sneaky peek at my new NEW website (not the one that was up for 24 hours or so last week - just to confuse you, ha) Nope, a new one.... I did like the old new one but hey....Glad to see I'm not the only finicky sod around here who likes to change her mind on a whim as fast as the weather. :-)

Speaking of which, the snow is cool eh? Pretty. It's still pretty to me, as I've managed to stay off my ass in it for once this year, courtesy of some beautiful red lace up rubber boots that I've grown rather attached to....

I watched the news this morning for the first time in yonks (my Strutter bubble is too damn cosy) which was sad and depressing. I'd just managed to lift my own mood yesterday which wasn't easy and then I tuned in to the rest of the world and people were dying and crying about the world coming to an end arrrrrgh so much talk of money and war and hurt and hate. Four peas in a pod it seems. I don't want to think or talk about that today. I want to go and hide in my bed where it's warm again and write about the war in my own head. Selfish or sensible? I can't decide. I'm just going to slope off and see where my pen takes me. Lotsalove, keep warm. xxxx
