FRIDAY PEOPLE!

And here we are. Arriving neatly at the weekend. Just the afternoon to go folks and you can let rip! So to speak........ :-P

Talking of letting rip, it's been a fabulous week for me being back in the studio, I'm so damned happy I'd do a goth's nut in in seconds with the size of the smile on my boat.... I'm so happy to be back in the studio, it's fantastic and really rewarding mentally. Adie's also on top form, although yesterday's vocal takes were interrupted by a rather loud bleep in the control room. Timing was everything as the great man himself rushed for the button that turns the sound off in the vocal booth, unfortunately passing the mike as something slipped out. Queue uncontrollable laughter from booth for the next fifteen minutes which, who knows, could make the final cut, as the cheeky git taped it....:-O

Oh, thanks for your mail and ideas people re; the album cover! I've not been able to go through them just yet but I will this afternoon, I'm sure there are some fabulous ideas and I'm pleased with those who responded, you are wonderful! Alan - re the Monroe re-creation, ha! It just reminded me of something that although I have tried, am NEVER likely to forget! On my trip before last to Paris, I was strolling along mindlessly in the centre pavement of a large road, when I absent mindedly walked across one of those vents, and before I could even think, had to rescue my loose silk dress which was blown right up over my face!!!! Ahhhh, I could have died of shame I tell you. The date (yes - stranger things have happened) I was with didn't even notice, but the rest of the Parisian street that caught a glimpse were smiling at my shame....

Ahhhhh. My day off and here I am, working! Well, writing isn't working but I have a pile of papers and numbers here I'm very slowly going through. It's so crap. Most of them are bills damn it....
