Howdy Doody!

'Tis I. Busy getting on with some work today. Slightly boring but unfortunately necessary stuff! Been wheighing up the pro's and cons of various record deals, publishing and liscencing deals, various means of distribution, PR, you name it, I'm bored of it, for quite some while now. So bloody annoying that the best bit (the music - often forgotten in all the heaps of crap you are supposed to wade through!) is crowded by such a large amount of tedious bullshit. You'd be surprised. The only bit I like is the actual doing of it. The actual kids that write to me (thankyou sweeties and sorry I keep swearing) and the people who come to live gigs and appreciate ya. The dressing up and the practising. The actual process of writing lyrics, making tunes and laying down instruments.... it's all a joy. It's fantastic. Really fullfilling and exciting and stress relieving. But, needs must, and even performing live and getting your music to people for their enjoyment costs an arm and a leg and is largely sown up by a mass of greedy unkind human beings. Very difficult it is. Had I a mass of money I'd make a a million records, hire a procession of carnival trucks and drive all the way round the country with a fabulous entourage of musicians and clowns and dancers and make a massive party convoy that everybody could join in with and give em all free music and clobber and stuff and get them all dressed up and dancing 'til they dropped. Being a not entirely practical idea - even then they'd probably sue my Arse for causing too much excitement to the masses who are meant to be miserable. Anyway, I'm basically sitting here trying to figure out how to simply go about doing something exciting with as little paperwork and ghastly large buisinesses with small hearts involved in it as possible.
I best stop moaning and carry on because I am actually getting somewhere at last. I shall keep ya posted. Microsoft - your programmes are crap. Absolute rubbish. You never ever work when I want you to and you are not at all cheap considering how crap you are. Bleugh.
