Woohoooo! Monday girl.
I'm not blue though. I'm well and truly red and white and happy all over! It's gotta be the best time it's been in a long time to be a Gooner. WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE SAY WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!!!! Great few days for me. I had the pleasure of taking my two nephews and Rubbergirl to the last Prince concert at the O2 centre on Friday night, which was abrolutely mindblowing! The crowd all got given purple glow sticks which were waved in the air for a whole hour of just sheer Pop heaven. The little one - sexy twins by his side and the Funked up cheeky band rocking behind, was on fire throughout the whole show. Amazing! I still can't stop grinning when I think of it! It was definitely the best and I thought the previous I'd seen couldn't be topped!
When we left at the end on such a high, it kind of felt like every where else I visited and all the people and sounds were kind of grey, (apart from a Quick visit in to our ole pal Rubber Ron who was DJ'ing and is still as fabulous as ever), so thanks to the boys of AFC for lighting up Saturday with a delightful win against poor premiership whipping boys Derby. This week also said goodbye to the "Special One" (a.k.a "special brew" as named by Paul Kaye!) for Chelsea! A few other wee delights and revelations in between, all topped off by a fantastic Saturday evening too! Happy happy happy birthday day for my Welsh little lovely, swoooon! ;-) Before collapsing on my sofa for the Chelsea United game topped off with another viewing of the film Purple Rain - the Perfect Sunday night send off.....
I'm chuffed to bits today and sitting here getting on with the week's jobs. Back later - hope all is well, K. XXXX
