Pleeeeeeeeaase please please go on the above link and sign this petition to stop Camden town turning into every other main street in thr country! Cemden town's identity is slowly and quietly being lost already but this idea takes the bloody biscuit. They plan to knock down the Proud Galleries, in fact all of the stables market to build yet another shopping centre! London is full of shopping centres we just DONT need any more! I wish I was joking too!!!! Yes, another Topshop and co heading our bloody way. Yet another "Chav heaven" and slap bang in the centre of one of the most individual and historically fabulous areas of London. It's rare I bang on at anyone to do anything of this sort but I think this one classes as being utterly desperate and I'm sure you will agree! Poor old Camden damn it! They've had the high street, (HMV, Office, KFC - notice them creeping in recently?) don't let them take the lot.........
