Monday morning....
Howdy pop tarts. How the devil are ya? Fine and dandy is the answer I'm hoping for. I'm still here after an incredible few days, so much to write about with so little energy left inside me that I don't quite know where to start....
Mmmmmm. Well first up is a MASSIVE thank you to all you lovelies that came down to the gig on Friday. It was lovely lovely lovely to see so many smiling faces that I know. After having about the cruddest week going, I suddenly got less enthused about how it was going to go in the build up to it - so to my relief it went well, even without the new songs learnt and ready on time to perform. Next time.... :-)
Great day at the Arsenal - although a madly stressful first half nearly had me in tears.... interesting new blood on the pitch but I must admit we haven't quite got it together as yet....
I am sooooo tired after the last week - I'm off up to my Mam's via Ireland and Manchester for a little rest, although I should have access to a PC so I shouldn't go too quiet on ya! Oh, and I shall upload some images of the gig.
I think my next performance should be an acoustic slot - one at a private party on the 1st of September in Notting Hill - I'll see how the land lies for invites if anyone is interested, as I shall be playing new material, but I will try to book one somewhere else when I get back, perhaps at Filthy McNasties, as I Love it in there. Ok, beddie byes for me now as I'm well overdue a nice long sleep! Special thanks to the lovely Katelyn and Lucy for their performances of Jelly Baby this evening - two definite stars in the making there! XXXX
