The Buck Brothers...............

Now boys and girls, I know I rarely do this, you know, big up other bands and that....but not for for any other reason than that the majority of the new ones the Music press bang on about are of absolutely NO interest to me whatsoever.... So heres a revelation, this quirky London three piece have not only grabbed my attention but managed to hold it for longer than a week. Not bad eh? Considering the obviously apparent lack of concentration skills in my little head.... :-)

Andy Duke. Buck Brothers Bass Guitarist/vocalist, last spotted bouncing around newly named Unit 2 Recording Studios with a wild shock of blonde spikes and a chirpy comedic voice not dissimilar to Paul Kaye's....hence my apparent long face when realising it wasn't him bowling down the corridor bursting in to my session, oops, has a rather Lovely Morrissey-esque Rock and Roll velvety feel to his voice - see - I'm happy - and the jingly guitars are right up my street with a Poppy/punky/Buzzcocks kind of edge. Me likes. Ok, if you don't sound sold yet, this one got me, the title of this first single from forthcoming album "We Are Merely Filters" is called "When I Look At You" All I Think About Is Sex.......

I'm in. And am proud to announce I shall be sharing a stage with them very soon. May the Heavens allow it.
