Me again! Back in touch with reality - well, just about....
For those of you left wondering why this diary suddenly stopped without explanation, you weren't alone up until a few days ago when it started to sink in that I was half way across the world on a desert island not dissimilar to the one you would imagine paradise to look like in your daydreams. I left London in the usual last minute flurry of chaos that ensues whenever I leave the house, my passport and bag full of bikinis forgetting to "sign off" with any of my usual day to day doings. (Sorry if I left mid sentence with anyone) But, needs must, and I needed a holiday so badly this year! And, I have sure had one. This was the best ever. Any of you that have been fortunate enough to have visited the Maldives will know exactly what I'm on about because it was breathtakingly beautiful.... the sea was so clear, just like turquoise crystal and so fresh. I spent most days swimming with reef sharks in the lagoon by my little beach house, basking in the sunshine, dolphin spotting which was excellent and para gliding over the ocean.
I can't quite believe I'm back! It was a bit like going from colour to black and white but I'm starting to settle. Unfortunately I came back to a broken PC so updates have to be swift when I can get a cheeky minute until it's fixed or replaced! So, I'm just off to Mecca for our game against Aston Villa, hope to get back on soon as this diary is one thing I did miss, AND I have some video footage we took in the studio to post up....
Byedebyes! XXXX
