Allo allo. Well. Where the hell have I been.... all
over the shop is the answer. A bit like my beloved football team this evening!
We just couldn't stick it in the net! And it certainly was not for want of
trying.... What an amazing game for attempts!

It's been a mad old week, full of surprises and a bit
of shite thrown in for good measure. I did something quite funny yesterday.... I
was out in town for a Lovely ladies lunch at one 'o me favourite spots before
popping to close by Denmark Street for a peep at some beautiful guitars. Before
I knew it, the drink from my lunch went straight to my head and I was, aherm, a
little more merry than I perhaps ought to have been. After another issue I
proceeded to miss my singing lesson which was the last booked in before I sing
alone at my Grandmother's funeral, (who put the fun in that word?) and was at
home getting changed for the after party for the Jackass Premiere. So. I wake
this morning with five million missed calls, a few agitated folks, a floor
smothered in Morrissey CD's and who knows what else with a devil's costume on. I
know how to party huh? I wouldn't have minded so much if there were four people
on the floor in the same mess, but no - I managed to do it alone. Clever eh.

I went to a whole series of meetings to network with
my new record label today, which was extremely positive - all's great on the
work front - escorted by the Lovely Taylor who didn't disappoint in the Rock and
Roll dept. What I would give for a video of her "Why can't I smoke in here"
routine.... (I removed four expletives from that one short sentence), think Ben
Kingsley in Sexy Beast....

Ooh we do like a bit of shmoozing. And snoozing, as I
was TWO whole hours late on arrival after a long detour to the nearest greasy
spoon.  Bad girl.

We are both looking forward to the next gig to which
I hope you will attend, although we don't have a drummer at present as Ed are
you what they call Chavs? Grimshaw is away that week. I am determined to do it
so shan't be cancelling. I may resort to the bongos at this rate and that will
not be fun. For the rest of the band that is..

Right. Up the golden trail for me. I'm away for about
a week now so I might have to store up my updates if I can't upload from there.
