Phew! What a week. Last weekend was
fabulous. Hectic, but amazing from start to finish. I shimmied my way over to
my favourite haunt, Heaven,
on Saturday night - they still have boys in baby oil and poles - with a cheeky
friend of mine - who now has the Vapours
"Turning Japanese" riff as a nickname....HA!, where we
happily danced the night away until my feet bled. Yep, they did. And it was
worth every drop. Lovely finish to quite a hectic time was had on the Sunday,
spent in the company of the delightful
Pete Shelley, Bez and Mr
Docherty....(ooh my he's grown!), more to follow on
that story but just checking in at home tonight as I have just returned from a
little break up at the Lake District.
Aye, I do love to get away from the
big smoke for a bit of space from hectic life in London. Kayaking. Yup,
kayaking. And a great change that was, although I definitely think boxing is
still my strong point.... :-)
One 'o me country mates..
A great day for change over at the
Arsenal, we finally
shook "Cashley Cole" (WAHEY!!!!)
loose from the team into a more suitable pen for his type, good riddance I say
there, end of an era. I mean earache.... Also and FINALLY Pascal Cygan bit the
dust. I was beginning to think we would have to PAY the boy to go but we
actually got a few bob for him which was great. So, welcome Julio Baptiste and
William Gallas and goodnight all for now!
