Fabulous Mail!
Yep,
mail from you lot. And how adorable some of the many messages I receive via this
website are!
On many mornings since
having this site I wearily drag myself out of the pit and find I have a pleasant
surprise waiting in the box... they always set me up for the day grinning.
SO, another great big thank you
from Taylor and I to all those who are fabulous, it appears to be many!
Here is an excerpt from one this
morning from D. Camilch ( A major star himself! ) to Taylor and I. - We
Loved this -
On stage, I declare
You really make a pair
Of musical angels,
O, competition - beware!
....and another excerpt that pleased
from someone extremely fabulous indeed, ....cheered us up in a recent post gig
blues ditch!
Enjoyed
the gig tonight, thanks for inviting me. Proper punk sound,
nice sharp and cutting. You do have a bit of the Pete Shelley vocals
(he was hi-pitched after all) with some cutesy uh-ohs thrown in, which
sound......cute! cheeky lyrics! and it goes without saying you look
super sexy onstage (has to be said though) with a real relaxed and
confident stage presence. Your lead guitarist was a proper punk
guitarist, bass player was a stunner too (with a nice thumping bass
sound), drums full on and rhythm guitarist together were tight and
punchy in fact all the band were..... so when's the album coming
out???!!!
Nice
points....Which lead me to my next subject....
When
IS
the fucking album coming
out!!
Can't
put a date on it just yet but it'll be worth the wait! I'm so busy writing new
material you'll end up with one of those triple CD box numbers at this rate!
Things are on the move is all I can say and I'll have some more news shortly.
Keep
writing to us, it's really interesting and appreciated, and
have a wonderful weekend. Get in as much trouble as you can. I certainly
intend to. ...
Here's another likely suspect,
this week's birthday boy, Peter! Here's wishing you a mad year!
I was
off to see "Performance" tonight at the Serpentine on a big screen but even
after the week long Sundance in my head I'm not sure the weather is
up to making it a wonderful choice.
SO,
First stop ~The Dublin Castle with Taylor to check out one of the old Friction
guitarists, "Luita" in her new band "The Last Grand". On stage first so I wont
be out for long (being the good girl that I am) but do pop in if you
fancy saying hello!
Home,
DVD and bed sounds the best bet.
Laters!
