FAREWELL, MY BLESSED
HIGHBURY!

A sad, happy,
exhilarating, emotional cracker of a day was shared by all Arsenal fans on
Sunday....the last afternoon I stood, sat, shouted, cried and basked in the
glorious atmosphere that belongs to Highbury Stadium, home of Arsenal Football
Club.

The day, from beginning to end was one great
big delight. A great big ginormous ice cream, superbly crafted with layer after
layer of mouth watering creamy white ice cream, strawberry sauce, creamy white,
strawberry sauce, creamy white, strawberry sauce, probably a few nuts sprinkled
in for good measure, all topped off with a great big juicy red cherry. Oh, lucky
we skipped the main course and went straight to dessert....didn't really fancy
Lasagne anyway....

If you can imagine a day of pure
spoiling of the ultimate kind, this was it. Fantasy football at it's finest. So
many faces, smiles, kisses, songs, tears, fears and highs have been shared in
and around that place in my mere three little years at the ground that I hate to
imagine how it would have felt after 30.....for some even 50 years! I remain
dazzled, high and superbly spoilt and moved after Sunday's events. A fabulous
4-2 win over Wigan, a goal from West Ham at the moment Dennis Bergkamp hit the
pitch for the very last time, a hat trick from the mighty Thierry Henry, a
dazzling performance was seen by all on the glorious pitch.....A parade to
follow of some of the greatest Highbury legends, including the marvellous
beaming Ian Wright, David Seaman and Emanuel Petit.....(cue gushes and blushes
from one Highbury minx who chooses to remain anonymous)....you know who you are!

Oh yes, we finished up in high style.
Highbury style.

The hottest dog in Highbury....

So, a big fat thank
you Arsene Wenger, thank you Highbury, thank you all the gorgeous lads at the
Triangle, the Pint on the Wall Gang, thank you to the greatest team in England,
I'm so damned happy, it's been a momentous year so far, my dream season. I
couldn't have been born to a better choice of club. So thank you Mum....

All that could top this off is a stop off in
Paris to pick up a glorious new piece of silverware for our new stadium.......

COME ON YOU REDS! :-D

My season gallery is under
construction.....aw shucks it'll make ya cry....
